Alameda Free Library is inviting the community to celebrate the start of Summer Reading with stories, crafts, and hands-on activities. 

Families can kick off the summer with a special storytime followed by creative activities for kids, teens, and adults. Visitors will have a chance to decorate seed containers, create mini terrariums, and enjoy a fun morning inspired by the “Plant a Seed, Read” summer reading theme.

Families can sign up for Summer Reading, cheer from the lawn, and enjoy an afternoon filled with community spirit, Pride celebration.
