The community is invited to examine owl pellets and discover what owls eat through a guided, up-close investigation. Families can explore local owl species while learning about food chains and wildlife habits in an engaging, interactive setting.

Bay Area Book Festival is inviting the community to celebrate books, storytelling, art, & literacy during a free outdoor festival in Downtown Berkeley.
The Bookworm Block Party will feature author talks, live performances, poetry readings, family activities, workshops, book exhibitors, food vendors, & interactive spaces throughout Downtown Berkeley. Families can explore the YouthLit area, listen to read-alouds, meet authors, browse books from independent publishers & booksellers, and relax in the festival’s outdoor Chill Zone.
