The Oakland Parks, Recreation, and Youth Development Department is offering a free, year-long playgroup.
Community Adventure Pre-K Playgroups is a free program for parents and caregivers with children ages 0-5, featuring arts and crafts, outdoor play, snacks, quarterly field trips, and other activities.
Date: Every Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 9:30AM - 12PM

Free groceries are available every Tuesday and Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Mission San Jose.
This walk-in food distribution offers bags of fresh produce and pantry items to those in need. No registration is required.

Oakland – Afro-Play Oakland Family Playgroup (East Oakland)
Oakland families are invited to this Afrocentric playgroup.
Afro-Play Oakland is an affinity-affirming space for families who identify as Black, African-American, or of the African Diaspora. Children and caregivers can enjoy Afro-centric activities in a warm and supportive environment, and donations are on a sliding scale, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
