Oakland – Town Nights: Dax Lee’s Chili Cookoff

The community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of food, music, and neighborhood celebration at Lake Merritt.

More than 800 community members gather each year to sample chili, cheer on local chefs, and enjoy live music during this popular Oakland tradition. Families can spend the day exploring the cookoff, connecting with neighbors, and taking part in a celebration of local food and community spirit.
