Program Description: Emergency Food Helpline 1-510-635-3663: This county-wide referral program will connect you to a source for groceries or a hot meal on the day you call. Through a network of strategically placed member agencies - food pantries, soup kitchens, child-care centers, senior centers, after-school programs and other community-based organizations - as well as our own direct-distribution programs, the Food Bank distributes enough food to provide 540,000 meals weekly.
