Program Description: EARLY INTERVENTION PARTNERSHIP Early Intervention services for young children and families Guided by our mission, A Better Way's Early Intervention work supports children ages 0 to 8 and their caregivers through early screening, triage, linkage, and treatment when medically necessary. ABW offers screening and triage offers initial review of concerns, urgency, and fit for Early Intervention or specialty mental health care. Linkage with Care: Warm handoffs and coordination with partners, so families do not have to navigate alone.Treat When Needed Caregiver-inclusive services when symptoms and medical necessity indicate a need for treatment. Who to refer: Individuals with early signs of serious or emerging mental health concerns, caregivers experiencing a stress, crisis, or family system disruption and/or families eligible for or enrolled in Medi-Cal.
