Program Description: Free Part Day and Full Day programs for child(ren) ages 3-5. This is an enriching, play-filled preschool program. To qualify, a family needs to meet the criteria listed below. Part Day Enrollment- - The family is a current aid recipient. - The family is income eligible. - The family is experiencing homelessness. - The child is a recipient of child protective services, or has been identified as being abused, neglected, or exploited, or at-risk of being abused, neglected or exploited. - The child has a disability (IEP or IFSP). - Any family member certified to receive Means test government program from Medi-Cal, CalFresh, the California Food Assistance Program, the California Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, the federal Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations, Head Start, Early Head Start, CalWORKS. Full Day Enrollment-To qualify for our Full Day Program, a family must meet both eligibility (as detailed for Part Day) and need. A need criteria indicates the family meets a need criterion that precludes the provision of care and supervision of the family's child for any part of the day. The need criteria are as follows: - Experiencing homelessness - Employed - Seeking employment - Engaged in vocational training leading directly to a recognized trade, paraprofession or profession - Engaged in an educational program for English language learners or to attain a high school diploma or general educational development certificate - Seeking permanent housing for family stability - Incapacitated Part Day Program Schedule: Please note the choice enrollment is conditional on the availability at time of enrollment - reach out to the Enrollment Team for more details! Morning Session: 8:10 AM - 11:10 AM Afternoon Session: 11:40 AM - 2:40 PM Full Day Program Schedule: The schedule is a based upon your family's need. Our Full Day classes are open from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM.
